Lunches and Milk

Lunches
Hot Lunches
At Abbey View, we provide free hot school meals for all Reception, Year 1, and Year 2 children through the Government’s Universal Free School Meals programme.
Our hot lunches are prepared on-site by Innovate, our trusted catering provider, ensuring fresh, nutritious meals every day.
Children in Key Stage 2 can also order hot lunches from Innovate. Please note that these are not funded by the government, so payment will be required.
In order to register your child for their hot meals, please go to the Innovate website:
Once you are registered, you will have the option to order your choices for several weeks at a time. The deadline to order for each week is the Friday before 11pm..
Eligibility for Pupil Premium and Free School Meals
Families receiving Universal Credit may be entitled to Pupil Premium and Free School Meals.
This applies to children of families in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 who already receive a free meal under the Government's Universal Free School Lunch Scheme and to all children in Key Stage 2.
If you think that you may be eligible, please complete the application form and return it to the Academy Office.
Packed Lunches
For those children who are in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 and those at children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 who opt out of hot meals, a packed lunch can be brought in.
Packed lunches should be healthy and we have the following rules about items that should not be included:
