Year 6
Welcome to Year 6!
In Year 6, we are just one step away from our exciting transition to secondary school. We will continue to become more independent by being active learners and taking part in all aspects of our school life. We will have many different learning experiences to look forward to including life during WWII, Charles Darwin and Evolution and learning to play an instrument. These learning opportunities will enable children to experience knowledge and skills that are relatable and relevant in their future learning.
Our Academy Motto – Learning today, Leading tomorrow – supports all our learning, and being the oldest in the school, we hope that Year 6 will be the role models for all our pupils by demonstrating our values of Determination, Aspiration, Respect and Teamwork on a daily basis. We look forward to working together in this final year of primary school and preparing for all the exciting opportunities that lie ahead.
